Workshop Overview:
Join us at Oasis Pottery for a special two-day ceramic workshop weekend with renowned ceramic artist, educator, and studio owner Christina Orthwein.
Christina will be teaching two different hands-on handbuilding workshops over the weekend: Tile Design on Saturday and Mug Making on Sunday.
You can register for either workshop individually, or join us for both days and experience the full weekend with Christina!
About Christina: Christina Orthwein is a ceramic artist working from her home studio in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. With a BFA in ceramics from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, Christina has been a Lecturer of Studio Art at Bryn Athyn College for 26 years.
With detail and precision at the heart of her style, Christina works in figural sculpture, slab-built and wheel-thrown functional ware, porcelain jewelry and low relief tile. Midfire oxidized stoneware and porcelain are her materials of choice.
What is Provided:
Plaster blocks, Clay (White Stoneware), Tools, Workboards
NCG will provide: water buckets, sponges, ware boards and plastic bags.

Food/snacks and your preferred drinks
Apron, Preferred Tools (more information will be announced a week before the event)
