The Wedge Ceramics Studio is an integral part of a thriving and building arts community here in Reno. It is the home to a diverse group of over 80 ceramic artists. CSN offers ceramics as part of their art offerings at their Charleston Campus. Art courses are offered for majors, non-majors and the general population of students.
NSC is Nevada's only accredited, private, four-year institution, and our location high in the Sierra located on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The college offers two degree program that incorporate ceramics: a Bachelor of Arts in Art, concentration in Three Dimensional Practices and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, concentration in Three Dimensional Practices. NSC also offers SNC offers week long workshops with nationally known artists through the summer, which students can take for credit or personal enrichment. Sculptors David Middleton and Ryan Carrington, ceramicists Richard Shaw, Michael Lucero, Martha Grover, and Tom Coleman are some of the inspiring artists who have taught in their summer workshop series.
