Tim See as seen at Clay Con West is coming to Las Vegas April 6th & 7th

Tim will be at Basic High School ceramics studio in Henderson NV on the 6th & 7th of April 2019 for a two day demonstration/workshop. Tim will be showing tea pot design and other throwing techniques and constructions.

There will be a meet and greet on Friday April 5,

“Art in the Dark” that everyone is invited to attend

Mini Bio

I am a ceramic artist born in Syracuse, New York in 1979. I have lived in the Greater Syracuse area, commonly known as Central New York, all of my life. I began working in clay while an art student at Onondaga Community College and completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics with Honors at Syracuse University in 2004.

Cost will be $100 for members in good standing and $150 for non members.

Friday night April 5th -

“Art in the Dark” 6:30-8:30 pm - free and open to the public A meet and greet with ceramic artist Tim See An ongoing slide presentation throughout the evening Tim’s ceramic work will be on display for viewing and purchase

Tim’s ceramic work will be on display throughout the workshop

for viewing and purchase. Attendees will write their name on stickers and place on an item they wish to purchase. At the end of each day or during lunch you will connect with Tim to settle up.

Saturday April 6th -

9:00 - 9:30 am Check in and get settled

9:30 -noon Demo - wheel throwing pots and parts including off the hump options, ongoing questions and answers

12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch - sign up for in house meal or bring box lunch

1:00 - 4:00 pm Demo - continuation of wheel work, demonstrating making and using plaster press molds, storing parts

4:00-4:30 pm Wrap up, art gallery closes

Group dinner options to be determined, please let us know if you are interested

Sunday April 7th-

9:00 - 9:30 am Check in and get settled

9:30am - noon Demo - Trimming, assembly and use of underglaze

12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch - sign up for in house meal or bring box lunch

1:00 - 4:00 pm Demo - Assembly, glaze and surface decoration

4:00-4:30 pm Final clean up and opportunity to purchase artwork
